Indica

As you can see from the chart above indica leaves are generally shorter and broader. This strain also has a shorter flowering cycle. Indica will give you a relaxing, chill vibe. It’s perfect to aiding with pain or facilitating sleep management. One of my favorite indicas is Blackberry x Blueberry which is a local Denver grow from LivWell.

Sativa

Sativa leaves are taller and more narrow than indica leaves. They also have a longer flowering cycle. This strain will give you energy and help you focus. It’s best for finishing creative projects and for fitness. One of my favorite sativas is Durban Poison which originated in South Africa. Y’all know I love Africa!

Hybrid

These strains are bred from indica and sativa plants. Two of my favorite hybrids are GG4 (Gorilla Glue 4) and Golden Goat.

Now that you’re better informed, you can pick up some new strains, get high and let me know what some of your favorites are! If you have any questions navigating your cannabis experience feel free to email me at info@thedopecactus.com.
